My Role:
Visual Designer and Mascot System Designer
Building the Buddy universe
Buddy was already part of GTM Buddy’s identity. I extended the mascot into a flexible avatar system for festivals, events, campaigns, product moments, and website experiences.
Each variation kept Buddy’s familiar personality while introducing new costumes, props, poses, and expressions. This turned one mascot into a recurring brand storytelling tool.

A Buddy for every moment
A flexible avatar collection created for celebrations, campaigns, and product stories.
I created more than 25 Buddy variations for Diwali, Holi, Christmas, Halloween, Thanksgiving, sports, grad, events, customer reviews, AI Roleplay, and website states.
Every avatar maintained Buddy’s core shape and friendly personality while using themed details to communicate its purpose immediately.

From Buddy to Super Buddy
Evolving the mascot as AI became central to the GTM Buddy story.
As GTM Buddy’s AI capabilities grew, I evolved the character into Super Buddy. The cape, AI emblem, and confident pose introduced ideas of intelligence, speed, and action while keeping the mascot familiar.
Super Buddy became a stronger fit for AI campaigns, product communication, and future-focused brand moments.
The outcome
Buddy evolved from a single mascot into a reusable character system that added personality, consistency, and warmth across the GTM Buddy brand.
